Commit messages like "fix edge case" turn writing release notes into a manual chore.

The approach

A commit-to-notes simulator and a conventional-commit parser both work. Notion sync and deeper diff inspection are ideas.

A trade-off

Rules parse commits first and an LLM is only a fallback. That keeps tidy repositories fast and cheap, but messy histories need the heavier fallback.
